Camrose Animal Alliance Rescue Society was born out of necessity when our cofounder kept receiving calls about abandoned or feral cats/kittens and animals needing to be surrendered in June of 2020. Unfortunately the local shelter was full so Camrose Animal Alliance was formed. We primarily serve Camrose County and surrounding areas but will take animals from the city when required. We do not have a shelter but instead place our animals in loving foster homes until their perfect forever home can be found.
If you would like to join us as a foster home, a volunteer, a fundraiser or a donor, please check out our "Volunteer" & "Things to donate" tabs at the top of this page. This will point you in the right direction.
Thank you for visiting our page and for your support. We cannot help the animals without the help of our wonderful community.
When an animal comes into Camrose Animal Alliance it is assessed, checked for a microchip and placed into a foster home to allow time for an owner to be found before it is adopted out to a new forever home. All our cats and dogs are vet checked, spayed or neutered, dewormed, have first vaccinations, rabies, feline leukemia and Microchips.
Our adoptions now also come with 6 weeks pet insurance with Petsecure. Visit our Petsecure page to find out more information on this program.
All animals currently available for adoption or preadoption* are shown on our "Animals available" tab at the top of this page.
If you would like to adopt a new family member, please contact us with the name of the pet you would like to adopt (so we can place it on hold for you) and please complete our adoption form (under the "Forms" tab). We will contact you once your form has been received.
*preadoption is for animals that will be available for adoption soon, but are not quite ready yet to go to a new home (usually because they are too young).
If you choose to pre-adopt, that animal will be reserved for you until it is old enough to leave us. Again, please complete the adoption forms and once the animal is ready to leave our care you will be able to take him/her home.
